Commissioning me to paint allows you to own a unique, personalized piece tailored to your vision and space. It’s an opportunity to work with me where I paint a subject in a size to match your preferences, ensuring a one-of-a-kind artwork with sentimental or aesthetic value.
The task starts with scoping the work you have in mind. Typically we’ll discuss, theme, size, media, timing, budget, T&Cs. An site visit can be useful when guaging the size of the work for your home. This helps to align your expectations.
On agreement, rough sketches are made up. The painting begins and you receive images of the progress at regular intervals. Studio visits are encouraged if you are local. Finally, the finished work is shown for your approval, prior to varnishing.
If you wish to gift your commission for an upcoming occasion or similar please get in touch at least 6-8 weeks beforehand.
